I believe when therapists are well-equipped to see client’s behaviors and strategies through a trauma-informed lens, clients are going to experience better outcomes to I believe when therapists are well-equipped to see client’s behaviors and strategies through a trauma-informed lens, clients experience better outcomes in therapy. When we can soften to the individuals we treat and see their humanity first, rather than their survival mechanisms, then we are able to truly meet our clients where they are on their healing journey. Each of these trainings will aid therapists in their conceptual knowledge of attachment, complex trauma, CPTSD, highly sensitive people, and borderline personality disorder. They are designed to complement each other, but as a standalone, each training will be packed with a wealth of knowledge that will undoubtedly support you as you support your clients.
I am so passionate about a non-judgmental approach to treating trauma and helping folks heal from the wounds they carry. Healing is possible and your clients are relying on you to provide them with the safety, knowledge, and understanding they need to leave the past in the past so they can begin to thrive in the here and now.

We do what we know until: 1) we know more and 2) we feel safe enough to try something new. This training is ideal for mental health providers who want to best support their insecure and under-resourced clients as they navigate new and ongoing relationships, post trauma. Your clients’ relational fears of rejection and abandonment are likely to be projected onto new connections if they haven’t adequately healed from their attachment trauma, and this is likely what is bringing them to your office. Together we will explore the origins of attachment trauma, how it is showing up in and out of therapy, and discuss ways you can help your clients’ heal from their past while creating more safety in the here and now. This training is great for anyone who utilizes a relational approach or wants to show up more relationally with clients. I will provide examples, share about helpful somatic interventions, and leave time for your questions!

When I say we come by it honestly, I’m referring to the way all of our trauma responses make sense in the context of our lived experience. This training is ideal for mental health providers who want to strengthen their understanding of borderline personality disorder and highly sensitive people through a complex trauma framework. We will talk differential diagnosis, how this is likely to present in therapy, and what you can do to support your client’s highly activated nervous system, right now. I will share case examples and give many ideas for treatment, and there will be time for questions throughout the training.
